Gideon can't resist sliding her hand up to cup Tally's cheek, briefly, the curve of it ridiculously soft against her palm, and then turns and steps away, clearing her throat. "Right," she says, "well." She takes her stance. "I'll make you a deal. You get a hit in, a real hit, something that would do some damage if you were wielding that—" she nods at Tally's sword where it rests on the furniture shoved into the corner, and then she actually looks at Tally again, at how wildly, insanely hot she is, and loses some of her momentum. But Tally is the one who asked. "I'll, um. I'll kiss you again."
